In the last two previous events in Miami and Mexico City, Bryson Dechambeau entered the final round with the leading throne, but he was unable to win. At LIV Golf Korea recently, the 31 -year -old golfer continued to put himself in that position, and this time he did not let victory slip out of his hand.
Dechambeau has won the first since U.S. Open 2024, also his third victory at LIV Golf, with 2 -stick gap compared to his teammate Charles Howell III of Crushers GC. Dechambeau shone with six Birdie in the last nine holes, setting the final round of 66 sticks, thereby reaching the total -19 score at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, South Korea.
Howell recorded 63 sticks on Sunday, leveling the score with Dechambeau after the fourth consecutive Birdie in the 14 Par -4 hole, both then reached -16. The two continued to record Birdie in the 15 Par-5 hole, but Howell had only Bogey during the day in the 16th hole, helping Dechambeau lead a stick. Dechambeau then recorded Birdie in the last two holes to win the two -stick gap.
This victory brought Dechambeau $ 4 million in the bonus and took him to second place on the season rankings, only 20 points behind Joaquin Niemann, who had 3 victories after 7 tournaments of this season. Niemann ranked T-20 in Korea.

Dechambeau’s Crushers GC also won the team championship in Korea with a total score of -35, surpassing the Brooks Koepka Smash team to nine sticks.
