President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are attending fundraisers Friday night on opposite sides of the country.
Trump is scheduled to appear at a dinner for the MAGA Inc. super PAC at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Vance is participating in a Republican National Committee event in Los Angeles. Vance has a couple of other stops planned in the city, including a visit with Marines who were deployed following protests of Trump’s deportations.

“I fully understand that my strong criticism of him makes it more difficult for him to do what he should be doing, lowering Rates, but I’ve tried it all different ways,” Trump posted. “I’ve been nice, I’ve been neutral, and I’ve been nasty, and nice and neutral didn’t work!”
The post included a graphic showing how the United States’s central bank rate compared to other nations.
“I don’t know why the Board doesn’t override this Total and Complete Moron!” Trump added. “Maybe, just maybe, I’ll have to change my mind about firing him? But regardless, his Term ends shortly!”
The Trump administration is shortening ObamaCare’s annual open enrollment period and ending the law’s coverage of immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally as children, according to a final rule announced Friday.
The Trump administration claims those moves opened a wave of fraudulent enrollment that’s costing taxpayers billions of dollars. Good.
In addition to the shortened enrollment period, the administration said it is ending ObamaCare coverage for immigrants who came into the U.S. illegally as children, also known as “Dreamers.”

Friday on ABC’s “The View,” Ana Navarro told her co-hosts that President Donald Trump’s second term has turned into an “American nightmare.”
Navarro said, “In normal times former presidents would remain quiet and not criticize or attack the current president, particularly in year one when it was the honeymoon period. Well this isn’t the honeymoon period it’s a nightmare and it’s an American nightmare. These are not normal times. What I saw last weekend in those No King protests, where over 2000 cities hosted protests and millions, five to ten million people went out and protested is that the American people are taking it upon themselves. They’re not waiting for a leader. They’re not waiting for a great white knight or a black knight or Latino knight to drive them out of the wilderness. They are doing it themselves.”
She added, “America is in danger, our democratic values are in danger. If you feel that way each and every one of us has to do whatever we can. Some of us have a bigger voice, some of us have a smaller voice, some of us have a bigger platform, some of us have a smaller platform but if we are all Americans and we care about the democratic values under threat and under attack by Donald Trump, then we have a duty and responsibility as citizens to do everything we can.”
