The dog, now affectionately named Buddy by hospital staff, refused to leave the hospital entrance, crying day and night. Witnesses initially thought he might have been abandoned, but Buddy’s behavior suggested otherwise. He seemed focused on the hospital doors, as if waiting for someone.
