The Trump administration froze $ 2.3 billion to finance Harvard University, after the facility refused to require the “Jewish chain”.

The interdisciplinary anti -ideological group of the Jews (JTFCAS) under the US Department of Education on April 14 criticized Harvard University for rejecting the requirements from the government to handle the “Jewish chain” in the school.
“The Harvard University’s statement clarifies that the ominous thinking is spreading in the prestigious universities and colleges of the United States, which is that the Federal Government’s investment does not accompany the responsibility to maintain civil rights laws,” JTFCAS said.
The White House on the same day announced freezing $ 2.3 billion to fund Harvard University. The move clearly shows the escalation between President Donald Trump’s administration and many universities in the US, raising concerns about the freedom of speech and freedom in academic schools.
Harvard University Alan Garber’s Principal sent a letter to all students and staff in the school, claiming that the requirements made by the US Department of Education would allow the federal government to “control the Harvard community” and threaten “the values of the school as a private organization focusing on pursuing, creative and universal knowledge”.
“No one is allowed to direct the private university to teach, who can recruit and only research and pursue any fields,” Mr. Garber wrote.
JTFCAS made requirements such as preventing Harvard University students from protesting, adjusting the management structure and leadership, renewing the enrollment process and terminating programs on diversity, fairness and integration (DEI). President Trump wants universities to be stronger when dealing with Jewish students.
The Trump administration has previously froze hundreds of millions of dollars in Federal funding for many universities, putting pressure on these universities to change the policy to suppress the thought of Jewish in the school.
