As Donald Trump’s daughter Tiffany Trump celebrated the anticipated arrival of her first child with husband Michael Boulos, her stepmother Melania Trump was noticeably absent. The First Lady did not attend her stepdaughter’s baby shower, hosted by Melania’s sister Ivanka Trump, and sources say it isn’t “surprising” that she missed.
Ivanka hosted a Peter Rabbit-themed baby shower for Tiffany and Michael, who revealed they are expected a baby boy, per PEOPLE. Insiders told that outlet that while Tiffany’s mom Marla Maples was at the event, Melania was not.

According to the insider, it is not “surprising” that Melania skipped the event, as there was reportedly not “any reason” for her to attend. The source added that Melania “has her own schedule, even on weekends.”

Considering how Donald, as President of the United States, still has time to go golfing even while the stock market tanks, it seems like Melania could have deigned to stop by her stepdaughter’s baby shower. After all, Melania started dating Donald back when Tiffany was only 5, and has known the 31-year-old for over two decades.
The insiders didn’t give any details about what Melania was doing instead that was so important, although a source did tell PEOPLE that she was “busy” with her son Barron Trump, 19, over the weekend. Who knows? Maybe she just doesn’t like baby shower games.
Tiffany didn’t seem bothered, though, as the insider shared, “Tiffany was so excited and is truly glowing in her excitement to be a mom.”
Tiffany also shared photos from the shower, where she looked beautiful in a flowy blue dress. “Such a special day celebrating our very soon to be son! 🩵” she wrote on Instagram. “1 month to go! Thank you to my big sis @ivankatrump for planning the most beautiful baby shower, we love you! 🐇🥕🤍”
Ivanka shared her own pictures on Instagram, writing, “This Sunday, I had so much fun planning and hosting a Peter Rabbit-themed baby shower for my sweet sister Tiffany!”

She continued, “We showered her with love and had the best time celebrating her and baby-to-be! Every detail was inspired by Beatrix Potter’s world — from bunny tails to garden treats — to celebrate the little boy she’s about to welcome into her life.
