Javier Zanetti contacts Julian Álvarez: 100 million offered to take him to Inter
A news that could change the cards on the table in the next summer market comes directly from Milan: Javier Zanetti, Inter legend and current vice -president of the club, would personally call Julian álvarez personally with the aim of convincing him to join the Nerazzurri. The young Argentine striker, currently under the Atlético Madrid, is considered one of the most interesting profiles of world football, and Inter seems to be willing to be serious.
According to sources close to the Inter leadership, a formal proposal of 100 million euros would have already been sent to the Spanish club. It would be one of the most important investments in the history of the Lombard club, demonstrating the will to build a competitive team at European level for next season.
Julian Álvarez, born in 2000, grew up football in River Plate before landing at Manchester City. After a season of adaptation to the Premier League, he was leved on loan with an obligation to redeem the Atlético Madrid, where he found continuity and a brilliant form, attracting the interest of several top clubs, including Inter.
The role of Zanetti could prove to be decisive in the negotiation. The former Inter captain enjoys enormous respect in Argentina and represents a charismatic figure who has often been able to positively influence the choices of other South American players. It is not the first time, in fact, that the Nerazzurri vice -president acts firsthand to facilitate the arrival of compatriots within the Inter rose.
Interviewed by an Argentine broadcaster, Zanetti confirmed the contact:
“Yes, I spoke to Julian. He is an exceptional boy, with great talent and important human values. It would be an honor to have him at Inter. Now it depends on so many factors, but our interest is real.”
For his part, Atlético Madrid has not yet made official statements, but it is known that the Spanish club has not intended to easily deprive himself of his attacker. However, such a high figure could make even the most firm intentions falter, especially considering the growing interest of other European clubs.
Inter, who is experiencing a high -level season in Serie A, aims to strengthen the offensive department in view of the Champions League and the new challenges of 2025. The arrival of a young, versatile and already expert striker as Álvarez would be a strategic blow both in technical terms and image.
In the meantime, the Inter fans have already started dreaming. On social networks the messages of enthusiasm and hope for a deal that, if he went to the port, would bring an Argentine center forward of international caliber to San Siro, something that is missing from the golden age of Icardi and Milito.
The negotiation is still at the initial phases, but everything suggests that the next few days could be decisive. Inter are ready to be serious, and with Zanetti under the command of the operations, nothing seems impossible.
