On September 28, US President Donald Trump repeatedly posted on Twitter, asking Mr. Adam Schiff to resign as Chairman of the Intelligence Committee due to his involvement in the scandal of the conversation between Mr. Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Accordingly, Mr. Trump accused the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee of editing the conversation to falsely blame the US President.
Sputnik reported that a confidential source had previously leaked a text believed to be a conversation between the US President and new Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in July 2019. In the conversation, Mr. Trump is said to have “asked” Mr. Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden – who will become Mr. Trump’s opponent in the 2020 US presidential race.
After this information was released, the US House of Representatives requested an investigation into the abuse of power to commit election fraud and intentionally defame opponents in the upcoming power struggle.
The US President denied the above information, asserting that the text was completely fabricated and far from the real conversation between the two leaders. Because of this, Mr. Trump was extremely angry at the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee for publicly disclosing “inaccurate” information and making sarcastic remarks about him.

Mr Trump said Mr Schiff fabricated the conversation to frame him. The US president asked the Intelligence Chairman to resign and called for a transparent investigation into Mr Schiff’s behavior.
The House of Representatives is continuing to verify the accuracy of the above information, asking the White House to grant access to the content of the conversation between Mr. Trump and Mr. Zelensky.
According to the Washington Post , the three chairmen of the US House of Representatives, including the Intelligence Committee, the Oversight Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee, have sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting the provision of relevant documents regarding the investigation into the controversial conversation of the US President.
The House of Representatives has also planned to remove five US State Department officials who were privy to the content of the two presidents’ conversations.
