One New York school is making the grade when it comes to twins!

Among the 447 graduating seniors at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School on Long Island, there are 15 sets of twins, according to Today and News 12 Long Island.

“Most, if not all, have been in the district since kindergarten,” Timothy Lamb, the school’s assistant principal, told Today earlier this month. “Many met as infants because the parents joined a parents of twins group. They’re all very friendly with each other.”

Although none of the twins are identical — “some teachers don’t even know they’re twins,” Lamb quipped — that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been some twin confusion over the years.

For example, there are two sets of twins named Josh and Rebecca (although they do have different last names, which helps).

With their high school education coming to an end, 14 out of 15 sets of twins are headed to different universities, according to Today, which reported that Chloe and Aidan Manzo are the only twins set to attend the same school in the fall: the University of Florida.

College will offer new experiences, including being separated from one another, the twins say.

“We’re really never apart,” Emma Leibowitz told News 12 Long Island, about her relationship with twin Kayla. “We even won the Best Duo in superlatives.”

And while Kennedy High’s twins are making headlines, a high school in New Jersey also had the distinction of graduating 15 sets of twins last year.

Ridgewood High School had 419 seniors in its class of 2024, and 30 of those students were twins, the Bergen Record reported.
