Norris copied a five -second penalty for causing collision with Piastri, a practically useless punishment considering that the race did not finish. Red Bull also launched a protest for the actions of the GEORGE RUSSELL race winner, believing that he deliberately reviewed Max Verstappen during the security period. But the FIA rejected the protest and Russell maintained the victory.

Plastri was talking to journalists after the race when Norris approached and apologized. Later, Norris said: “No one who blames myself, except myself, sorry for the whole team and also for Oscar for trying something probably too dumb. I am happy not to have ruined his career, I apologize to the team. I touch my part.”

Andrea Stella says McLaren will examine the collision of teammates
The director of the McLaren team, Andrea Stella, hastened to her reaction to Norris’s brain explosion. “We never want to see a McLaren involved in an accident and we certainly never want to see the two McLarens who were played,” Stella told Sky Sports.
“It is something that we must surely check because this is a very clear principle. At the same time, it is a contact that happened due to an error of judgment. Lando has judged the distance from the car in front and, therefore, there was no bad.
