“These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt of distraction,” he added.
The former president’s spokesman then turned to the report of Tulsi Gabbard, director of national intelligence, who claimed that the Obama government “made and politicized intelligence” against Trump.
“Nothing in the document released last week disputes the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influenceelection2016 presidential, but did not manipulate any vote successfully. These conclusions were confirmed in a 2020 report of the Bipartisan Intelligence CommitteeSenate, led by the then presidentMarco Rubio .”
This last sentence annoyed Trump’s Secretary of State and National Security Counselor, who was sitting next to the president during his long speech on Obama and his team.
