President Zelensky invites US counterparts to visit Ukraine to understand the situation before making a decision related to war between the country and Russia.

“We want him to come here and witness. He thinks he understands what is going on. We respect this view. But please, before any decision or form of negotiations, come to witness the situation,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky answeredCBS NewsOn April 13, mentioning the White House owner Donald Trump.
According to Zelensky, with such a trip, Mr. Trump “will understand what Russia has done with Ukraine”.
“We will not prepare anything in advance. Not a theater needs to arrange actors on the road and the city center. We don’t do that.

President Zelensky issued an invitation after he and President Trump, Vice President JD Vance in February had a fierce battle against the press at the White House. Mr. Vance then accused Mr. Zelensky to organize “propaganda trips” for foreign leaders to seek support for Ukraine.
Mr. Zelensky then showed uncomfortable face, crossed his arms in front of his chest, saying that the United States has not felt the pressure from war thanks to “separated by a beautiful ocean”, but will notice that in the future if Russia does not stop in Ukraine.
Mr. Trump from the beginning of February has promoted the effort to negotiate peace in Ukraine, but so far has not reached a comprehensive ceasefire agreement, apart from some small commitments on stopping energy infrastructure and terminating fighting in the Black Sea.
