Thousands of people across the country marched, closed the door of the highway, burned mannequin and shouted angry slogans on Wednesday night to protest the election of Donald J. Trump as president.

The protests, motivated by social media, continued until the early morning of Thursday. The crowd became more and more crowded at night but mostly in peace.
The reports were reported in many different cities such as Dallas and Oakland, including marches in Boston; Chicago; Portland, ore.; Seattle and Washington and at universities in California, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
