Clash between fans and clubs: Inter hires a United defender, but the Tuona curve “We will make us refund the tickets!”

Inter have made official the zero -parameter engagement of a defender from Manchester United in the last few hours. The footballer, whose name had already circulated in recent days between rumors and market voices, has signed a two -year contract with the Nerazzurri company. But the news, instead of generating enthusiasm among the fans, has unleashed a real storm within the organized fans.

Immediately after the official announcement by the club, a significant part of the Nerazzurri supporters reacted unexpectedly and highly critically. A message released by the North Curve – the beating heart of Inter Tifo – has attracted the attention of media and enthusiasts:
“If he arrives, we will make us refund the tickets for the stadium …”
The message, hard and without maximum terms, suggests a clear refusal by the fans for the arrival of the ex United defender. But what has caused such a strong reaction?
According to sources close to the interista environment, the footballer in question would have a controversial past, marked by fluctuating services and some extra-champion episodes that have never been digested by the public. Despite his international status and experiences in the major European championships, the player’s attitude and performance have never completely convinced.
In addition, some fans highlight how the choice of Inter goes into contrast with the recent promises of the management, who had talked about focusing on young players, motivated and functional to Simone Inzaghi’s technical project. The engagement of an element considered by many “out of the project” therefore triggered bad moods and protests.
At the same time, there are also those who defend the company’s decision. Several commentators underline that, since it is a transfer at zero cost, the operation is still an opportunity from an economic point of view, offering experience and depth to the squad. “It will not be a fixed owner, but it can be useful in the key moments of the season,” commented a former Nerazzurri manager.
However, the fracture between fans and society on this point seems destined to leave aftermath. The threatened protest – or the reimbursement of tickets – is not to be underestimated, considering the weight and influence of the north curve inside the organized cheering. In the next few days there may be additional press releases or even demonstrations of dissent during the summer friendlies or pre-season retreat.
For now, the company has not made official statements in response to the protest, but the situation may soon request public clarification. It is not the first time that a market choice unleashes controversy among the fans, but it had rarely reached such strong tones.
The new defender, for his part, said he was “proud to wear a historical shirt like that of Inter” and said he wants to “demonstrate his value on the field and win respect for the fans”. Words that, however, must be accompanied by convincing performance to appease the storm.
The Nerazzurri summer has just begun, but apparently, the controversies have not been expected.
