Inside Scottie Scheffler’s $150M Lifestyle: Car, Home, & More as World No. 1

14 PGA Tour official wins, 2 more in the Hero World Challenge, an Olympic Gold medal, and a long future ahead. Scottie Scheffler‘s resume shines through in an age where fans are desperate for a Tiger Woods-like dominant player. He may not be as enthusiastic as the legend, but Scheffler has certainly left a mark on the history of golf. Still only 28, there is no question he might achieve many more victories. Perhaps even outshine his idol’s records in the sport. But is he also living life king-size just like Woods?

Over the last few years, Scheffler has earned over $145 million only from his performance on the course. He is only a few million away from the Big Cat’s $154 million career earnings. The Dallas local may have earned his wealth in a different generation, but there is no question that he is enjoying it as much as Woods. His dreamy lifestyle will give us a clearer picture of the same.

Scottie Scheffler’s haven

Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Scottie Scheffler moved to Dallas when he was just 6 years old. Reports suggest that his parents decided to shift after the 9/11 attacks in 2001. Since then, the 28-year-old has resided in the Texas city. He turned pro in 2018, and two years later joined the Tour as well. The same year he received his PGA Tour card, he and his wife, Meredith Scudder, also decided to tie the knot. To celebrate personal and professional milestones, the then-25-year-old purchased his permanent residence in Dallas, Texas. The modest but beautiful home of 5,000 square feet was purchased for $2.1 million. It has five bedrooms and six baths and has since risen in value to $3.2 million. Although considering the memories connected with it, including the birth of his son, Bennett, he might not look at it as an investment for returns.

Having said that, it’s common knowledge also has other properties across the country. He famously owns a condo near Scottsdale, Arizona, close to the famous TPC Scottsdale course. But his house in Dallas is the one that is considered his permanent address.

His rides

Scottie Scheffler has never been a flashy individual. He has always remained modest and down-to-earth when it comes to his wealth. The world no. 1’s passion for golf is the only thing he likes to show off on and off the course. Having said that, unlike many famous golfers, Scheffler doesn’t drive a fancy car. For the majority of his career, Scheffler was driving a 2012 GMC Yukon XL. Interestingly, the 14-time PGA Tour winner was only 16 when his father purchased the car. It just happened to break down during their visit to Augusta National to watch the Masters Tournament. Back then, they wouldn’t have known that Scottie would end up winning the Green Jacket twice by 2025.

In late 2024, Scheffler put up his GMC Yukon XL for auction to raise money for the Triumph Over Kid Cancer (TOKC). The car was auctioned off to Jim Nantz, who donated $50,000 to the charity. Apart from the classic SUV, there is another car that Scheffler was seen riding to Valhalla last year. During his infamous arrest before the second round tee of the 2024 PGA Championship, he was caught riding the Lexus TX350 by the police. It was a courtesy vehicle provided by Lexus as part of the 2-time Masters winner’s sponsorship deal with them.

His skills

While it’s not a possession, Scottie Scheffler’s outstanding skills as an athlete are something worth discussing here. Everyone is aware of how good he is on the course. But did you know that he is also a skilled player on the court? We’re talking about the basketball court here. In a recent interview, the 2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson winner confessed, “I was a good defensive basketball player in high school. I was the lockdown guy. I was the hustle guy.” The video attached to the post by the PGA Tour also showcased Scheffler’s incredible abilities on the hard court. Looking at his calm and composed demeanor on the course, *partly sarcastic*, no one would imagine him being so agile.

Back in October 2024, it was also revealed that Scheffler is really good at pickleball. During an interview, he had revealed that he was a part-owner of a pickleball team, the Texas Ranchers, before talking about his team’s performance: “I know, I think it’s going pretty good. I would definitely say I own a very, very small fraction of the team and very passive owner. So, but as far as I hear, they’re doing great.” During the same Q&A, he had also mentioned being really good at it. So much so that he might even consider going pro in the sport.

Considering his lifestyle and possessions, there is no question that Scottie Scheffler is living the life, even if it is a modest and peaceful one. Wouldn’t you agree?
