🔥FORMER NAPOLI STAR WARNS: “INTER CAN’T DREAM OF PSG NOW – THERE’S STILL A MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB!”💣 The Champions League final isn’t the top priority this season yet. Find out more below!
Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zielinski has said that the Nerazzurri cannot focus on Paris Saint-Germain just yet.
The Polish player shared his thoughts during the press conference following the Serie A match against Torino, as reported by FCInterNews. Zielinski stressed that the team “still has one more goal” to achieve before turning their attention to the European final.
Inter Milan will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final later this month, in a game that could decide the entire season for both teams. It will be a momentous match, played in Munich, and represents a chance for the Nerazzurri to atone for their defeat to Manchester City in the final two years ago.
However, the road to Monaco is not yet complete. Inter still have two crucial games to play in Serie A. Next weekend they will face Lazio, while on the final day of the championship they will take on Como away.
There is also the possibility of a title play-off against Napoli, in the event that the two teams finish the season with equal points at the top of the table. In this scenario, the race for the Scudetto would remain open until the last drop of sweat.
Zielinski reiterated the importance of maintaining concentration: “We knew it wouldn’t be an easy match against Torino. Napoli also still believes in the Scudetto. But we have to hope they make a misstep.”
The midfielder then commented on the thrilling Champions League semi-final: “The game on Tuesday was incredible. Reaching the Champions League final is something extraordinary for us. But we can’t lose our heads now.”
“We have to stay focused until the end. We are fighting for something really important,” Zielinski added.
The pressure is palpable in the Nerazzurri locker room, but so is the determination. Simone Inzaghi’s squad faces a double challenge: chasing a scudetto that seemed lost and preparing for the European final against one of the strongest teams on the continent.
Inzaghi himself rotated his team in the recent win over Torino, demonstrating that each game is prepared with strategic attention. But it is likely that in the next two matches against Lazio and Como, the coach will opt for the best formation, given what is at stake.
Zielinski, recently arrived from Napoli, knows the weight of expectations. His leadership in midfield will be crucial to maintaining the balance between ambition and realism.
“We have a deep squad, we can handle both competitions well. But we have to take one step at a time. First Lazio, then Como. And only then will we think about Monaco,” concluded the Pole.
In a season finale that promises fireworks, Inter knows that any mistake could be fatal. But with experienced players like Zielinski and the unity of the group, the dreams of a double triumph are still alive.
