A Formula 1 pilot, a favorite of the fans, who was fired, could be ready for a surprise return with a surprise team.

With only 20 seats available on the current grill, Formula 1 can be a really brutal sport, where only the best pilots in the world can maintain a seat.
Therefore, some pilots are brutally dismissed when their performance begins to decline or becomes evident that they are not good enough for the team.
But there is a pilot that the fans felt a great disappointment to see sport left, and that could be ready for a spectacular return with a surprise.
For the 2026 season, the F1 grill will be expanded with the incorporation of Cadillac to the sport, becoming the eleventh team, creating space for two more pilots.
Since the announcement of the imminent arrival of Cadillac, several names have been linked to the Cadillac seats, including the popular Expilot of Red Bull, Sergio Pérez.
However, a new report by The Race reveals that Cadillac is not the only Formula 1 team that considers Pérez a seat for the 2026 season, since Alpine is also considering bringing the Mexican back to the F1.
Pérez was fired from Red Bull at the end of last season after a drastic performance downturn in his last two years driving with his teammate Max Verstappen.
Since then, the 35 -year -old pilot has been enjoying a time away from sport, while considering whether it will return when the new regulations are implemented next year.
If you decide to return to the grill, Alpine is likely to be a better short -term option for the Mexican, given the team’s experience compared to the newcomer Cadillac.
However, the recent decision of the French team to separate abruptly from the Australian pilot Jack Doohan and the team director, Oliver Oakes, could be enough to convince Pérez that he is decided by Cadillac, which, as reported, sees him as his ideal candidate to enter the F1.
Throughout his career, Pérez has participated in 281 Formula One races, winning six and climbing to the podium in 39, accumulating an impressive total points of 1638.
