Cardi B learned the hard way to be careful with her handbags .
Weeks after revealing that her daughter Kulture scribbled on her $60,000 Hermès Kelly bag, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper admitted she quickly got over the incident.
“I couldn’t even blame her, I wanted to see if she was going to tell me the truth,” she exclusively told Erin Lim Rhodes of The Rundown on April 12 at Revolve Festival, the brand’s annual party during the first weekend of Coachella 2025. “I said to her, ‘Kulture, did you draw on Mom’s purse?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah! Did you like it?’”
While the Grammy Award winner, who also shares a 3-year-old son, Wave, and a 7-month-old daughter with her ex-husband, Offset, doesn’t dwell on the subject, she has no plans to pass on her designer bag collection to her children.
“Sometimes I think, ‘Yeah, I want to pass this on to my daughters,’” continued the 32-year-old, who will perform at the invitation-only event, “but maybe I’ll wear it later.”
The “I Like It” singer also has several projects in the works, including a clothing and beauty brand in partnership with Revolve Group. She recently explained how her passion for fashion led her to pursue a career at the brand.

“I could go shopping every day, but there’s always this pair of jeans that I love. There’s this tank top that I love, and no matter how many stains it has, I wear it because I love it,” she told Women’s Wear Daily in an article published April 1. “I want my brand to have a unique piece that you buy, that you love, that has meaning.”
Above all, she wants her brand to be consistent in terms of sizes, which is often difficult for women’s clothing.
“If it’s a size S, it should be a true size S,” she added. “If it’s a size L, it should be a true size L.”
The Bronx native also shared that while she feels pressure to break into the lifestyle world—following in the footsteps of Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, and other singers—she’s up for the challenge.
“When you expect so much from something, you want the best, or the worst so you can say, ‘Haha, you don’t know anything, b***h!’” she explained. “You expect the best of both worlds. You have to be strong.”
