🔥Breaking News: What’s happening to Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari after Charles Leclerc reveals the truth behind the relationship between Lewis and the Ferrari boss. Details in the comments 👇👇

In the high-octane world of Formula 1, where rivalries are fierce and team dynamics are scrutinized under a global spotlight, the 2025 season has brought a seismic shift with Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari. The seven-time world champion, who spent 12 years with Mercedes, was expected to ignite the Scuderia’s campaign with his unparalleled experience and star power. However, five races into the season, Hamilton’s struggles have sparked intense speculation, and recent comments from teammate Charles Leclerc have shed new light on the complex relationship between Hamilton and Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur. As Ferrari prepares for the Miami Grand Prix with a special livery and fan-driven initiative, the question looms: what’s really going on behind the scenes at Maranello?

Hamilton’s transition to Ferrari was billed as a blockbuster move, with expectations that he would challenge for podiums and potentially the championship. Yet, the reality has been far from rosy. His best grand prix finish this season is fifth in Bahrain, and he has been consistently outpaced by Leclerc, who secured Ferrari’s first podium of 2025 with a third-place finish in Saudi Arabia. In Jeddah, Hamilton crossed the line a staggering 30 seconds behind his teammate, prompting him to describe the race as “horrible” and admit he has “no explanation” for his lack of pace. His only bright spot was a sprint race victory in China, but this has done little to silence critics who question whether the 40-year-old can adapt to Ferrari’s SF-25 car after years of driving Mercedes machinery.

Leclerc’s recent comments, made to Sky Sports, have added fuel to the fire. The Monegasque driver noted a significant shift in Ferrari’s internal dynamics since Hamilton’s arrival, particularly in how the team approaches car setup and strategy. “It’s so interesting having Lewis join the team, coming from Mercedes,” Leclerc said, highlighting how Hamilton’s fresh perspective has influenced the team’s processes. He acknowledged their differing approaches, stating, “We have different approaches, but that’s the same for everyone in the paddock.” While Leclerc framed this as a positive, describing how Hamilton’s experience is “helping” him, there’s an underlying tension. Leclerc’s ability to extract more from the SF-25, coupled with his long tenure at Ferrari, has positioned him as the team’s leading driver, raising questions about whether Hamilton is struggling to find his place.

The relationship between Hamilton and Vasseur has also come under scrutiny. After Hamilton’s candid admission that he “knows the bosses are not happy” with his performance, Vasseur responded with a fiery defense, dismissing claims of Ferrari’s form dipping as “f****** bull****.” He emphasized his support for Hamilton, stating, “I will give him support, and we will start straight away to find solutions.” Vasseur’s confidence in Hamilton’s potential, citing his strong performances in practice sessions and the China sprint, suggests a belief that the Briton’s struggles are temporary. However, former F1 driver Giedo van der Garde has claimed Hamilton’s confidence is “completely gone,” pointing to his inability to understand the SF-25’s handling, particularly under braking.

Ferrari’s challenges extend beyond Hamilton. The SF-25 has underperformed, with McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes outpacing the Italian team. Leclerc’s podium in Saudi Arabia showcased the car’s race pace potential, but qualifying remains a weak point, as evidenced by Hamilton’s ninth place in Bahrain and seventh in Jeddah. The team’s decision to alter setups after Hamilton’s disqualification in China for excessive plank wear has forced an “extreme” configuration, according to Leclerc, which may not suit Hamilton’s driving style. Former Ferrari employee Andrea Mazzola drew parallels to Sebastian Vettel’s struggles in 2019, when Leclerc outperformed the four-time champion, suggesting the car’s difficulty is amplifying Hamilton’s woes.

As Ferrari heads to Miami, the team is banking on a morale boost. A special livery, featuring blue accents in collaboration with title partner HP, will debut, and fans can submit messages to be printed on the car cover, with Hamilton and Leclerc involved in the design process. This initiative, coupled with an expected upgrade package, aims to turn the tide. Hamilton and Leclerc’s teamwork was recently highlighted in a Ferrari escape game challenge, signaling unity off the track. Yet, on the circuit, the gap between them remains stark. Leclerc, at 27, is seen as Ferrari’s future, while Hamilton’s lucrative contract demands results.

The Miami Grand Prix offers a chance for redemption, but the pressure is mounting. Hamilton’s adaptation to Ferrari’s culture, car, and expectations is proving more daunting than anticipated. Leclerc’s revelations about their dynamic and Vasseur’s unwavering support suggest a team in transition, striving to balance two champions’ ambitions. For Hamilton, the road ahead is painful, as he admitted, but his resilience and Ferrari’s determination could yet forge a path to success. The F1 world watches eagerly, waiting to see if the Prancing Horse can gallop again with Hamilton in the saddle.
