Brost Rajada to Colapinto after the classification of the GP of Great Britain

Great Britain’s Grand Prix has left much more than times on the track. After a classification marked by the rain, the surprises and some disappointing actions, Flavio Briatore, known for not having hairs on the tongue, launched harsh criticism against Franco Colapinto, the young Argentine pilot who has recently begun to become a place in the world of formula 1.
During an interview after the classification, BriTore expressed his disappointment with the performance of Colapinto in Silverstone. “It is not enough to have talent. At this level, you need consistency, career intelligence and know how to manage the pressure. Today Colapinto has shown that he still has a lot to learn,” said the former Renault F1 chief with his usual direct tone.

Colapinto, who classified in the last positions, could not find the right pace in a circuit that became challenging due to changing weather conditions. While other young pilots, such as Oscar Piastri and Liam Lawson, managed to place themselves within the Top 10, the Argentine struggled to maintain control of the car and not make mistakes at key moments.
Briatore went even further when comparing Collapint with other emerging talents. “Look at the pilots like Bearman or Antonelli, who are already demonstrating that they can fight with the greats. Colapinto has the potential, but the potential without results is of no use in Formula 1,” he said.
These statements did not go unnoticed. In social networks, fans were divided between those who support Briatore’s criticism and those who defend the young pilot, remembering that he is in their first careers within the queen category and needs time to adapt.
From the environment of Colapinto there was no official response, although his team showed that they will work intensely to reverse the situation in the next races. “We know it was not the best day, but we fully trust Franco’s growth. Silverstone is a complicated circuit and the conditions did not help. The important thing is to learn and move on,” said a team spokesman.
For his part, Colapinto was self -critical in his subsequent statements: “I am not satisfied with the result. I made mistakes and I couldn’t get the car maximum. I am learning, each session is a lesson. I can only promise that I will return stronger.”
The media pressure and demands in Formula 1 do not give truce, and Colapint knows. The next challenge will be in Hungary, where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate that Briatore’s words are nothing more than an extra motivation to improve and consolidate as one of the young promises of international motor racing.
