Former US President Joe Biden was directly responsible for letting the Ukraine crisis escalate into a conflict between Moscow and Kiev, his successor Donald Trump said.

The US President recalled that conflict resolution is still a top priority but acknowledging the challenges related, describing this as “a battle that has been rooted in deeply”.
The United States pledged to aid about $ 175 billion for Ukraine under the Biden government, including advanced weapons systems, ammunition and direct financial support. Biden pledged to support Ukraine “until necessary”, while constantly refusing to participate in high -level negotiations directly with Kremlin.
In contrast, Donald Trump has resumed the dialogue with Moscow since returning to his office in January. Russian and US delegations have organized many high -level negotiations in recent months on the resolution of Ukraine conflicts and restoring bilateral relations.
While Russia welcomed this new relationship and described the cooperation as effective, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned of resolving long-term problems in US-Russian relations will need time.
