Former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron launches explosive lawsuit against Coldplay after the band publicly broadcasted his bandmate during their live show.
Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, became the focus of controversy after a Cam Kiss moment went viral at a chill player concert.
Kristin Cabot, Byron’s head of HR, sparked widespread controversy after both were found to have cheated on their spouses.
The viral video came from a Coldplay concert, where the band used a kiss to engage the audience. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin made a lighthearted comment after noticing the couple’s reaction. He said, “Either you’re having an affair or you’re just really shy,” followed by, “I hope we didn’t do anything wrong.”
It turned out they did something very bad.
Chris Martin and his band Coldplay had no idea they would make Andy Byron a household name in the worst way. Now you may have to pay for your actions.
According to a new report, Byron is set to sue Coldplay over the Kiss cam scandal that turned his life upside down.

Unfortunately for Andy Byron, he has to accept his loss like a man.
Ron Zambrano of Los Angeles-based West Coast Attorneys told The Mirror: “All of Byron’s legal claims are dead on arrival. He has no grounds to sue.”
Zambrano continued: “First of all, it would be immediately dismissed as a limitation of Coldplay’s creative language and ability to be artistic during their performances.
“Secondly, Byron and Cabot gave up their right to privacy when they decided to participate in a public event, so that their public affection is not about them.

Less than a week earlier, Byron resigned after an internal review.
