Three days before The Masters 2025 started, Augusta National Fred Ridley announced a cooperation project with Tiger Woods: Building a 9 -hole golf course called The Loop at the Patch and TGR Learning Lab learning center, towards Steam Education and local community development.
In a announcement before The Masters 2025, Augusta National Fred Ridley has announced a cooperation project between Augusta National and Legendary Golf Tiger Woods to create a sports space and education for the local community. The project includes the construction of a 9 -hole short golf course at Augusta public golf course (also known as the Patch) and a TGR Learning Lab learning center in Harrisburg neighborhood of Augusta.
The new golf course, The Loop at the Patch, will be undertaken by Tiger Woods TGR Design. This is not only a place where people can play golf at a reasonable cost, but also a symbol of cadies – those who have been attached to this golf course as a familiar meeting place. In particular, students at TGR learning center will have access to golf right here, from which to learn the positive values of this sport to develop themselves for a long time.
“TGR Learning Lab” in Augusta will be placed at the old school Lamar Elementary School. This is the fourth learning center in the TGR Foundation system – non -profit charity fund founded by Tiger Woods – deployed. The first model was born in Anaheim, California in 2006, providing high quality education programs on science, technology, engineering, art and math (Steam) for disadvantaged students.

Sharing the meaning of the program, Fred Ridley said: “Our goal is to explore the potential in every student. And that is becoming a reality.”
Although it was impossible to be in Augusta due to recovery after the heel tendon surgery, Tiger Woods still appeared in a video sent to the press conference.
He moved emotionally: “Designed a work for the community, combining education, STEM and the values I always believe, it is a great honor, especially when accompanied by Augusta National.”
Ridley said the Golf The Loop has officially started and is expected to be completed next year, while TGR Learning Lab will be opened in 2028.
The project not only continues to assert Augusta National’s commitment to connect with the community, but also a clear evidence for Tiger Woods’s enthusiasm in the mission of educating and improving the quality of life for the younger generation with both golf clubs and life lessons.
