“I’ve been watching Barack Obama campaign these past few days. He’s a real divider. He’s dividing this country. He and his small group of people don’t care about anything,” former US President Donald Trump said during a campaign rally in the battleground state of North Carolina on October 22.
Mr. Trump did not appreciate Mr. Obama’s appearance in this year’s election campaign , emphasizing that former President Obama also supported Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, but in the end Mr. Trump won.
“I think he’s exhausted. He looks a little older, right? That’s fine, but he’s exhausted,” Trump added.

In recent weeks, former President Obama has been campaigning hard in battleground states like Nevada, Pennsylvania and Arizona to support Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democratic candidates. He campaigned in Wisconsin and Michigan on October 22 and is scheduled to appear with Harris at a rally in Georgia on October 24.
Former President Obama remains popular with Democrats and has used his appearances to appeal directly to black male voters and argue that Republican candidate Donald Trump is unfit to lead the country.
Donald Trump and the Obama family have been political rivals for years, but their personal animosity also stems from Trump’s spreading of the unfounded conspiracy theory that his predecessor was not born in the United States.
The Obamas served as keynote speakers on the second night of the Democratic National Convention in August, consistently electrifying the crowd and delivering strong criticisms of Trump.
