MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – UPDATE (7/27/25 at 8:05 p.m.): According to Capt. Jason Kraft with the Ward County Sheriff’s Office, they have not yet identified the individual who threw the object at Bryan.
Kraft said they currently do not have a criminal investigation oреп оn the matter, since they have not yet received a complaint from a victim.
ORIGINAL STORY (7/27/25 at 6:30 p.m.): Country music star Luke Bryan was struck in the face by an object near the end of his concert Saturday night at the North Dakota State Fair.
A video that has now gone viral shows Bryan getting struck by what appears to be a ball while singing what ended up being his final song of the night, ‘Country Girl.’
After the incident, Bryan continues singing a few words, then pauses and stares at someone in the crowd, before continuing the song and finishing the show.
Shortly after he was struck, sheriff’s deputies could be seen heading to the area where the object came from, though it’s unclear if they removed anyone from the venue.
