Alexander-Arnold:  “Yes, I met Dean (Huijsen) during the summer break. Tomorrow both he and I will meet our new teammates and we will have time to get to know each other. I’m so excited, I even had to pinch myself to make sure this wasn’t a dream.”

Alexander-Arnold:  “It’s understandable, wherever I go people say my name is a bit difficult to pronounce because it’s long. I think it’s best to shorten it.”

The difference between Real Madrid and Liverpool

Alexander-Arnold: “I’m very lucky to play for both the biggest clubs in England and the biggest clubs in Spain. Both clubs have won the national championship and the European championship many times. To play for both clubs is an honour that cannot be refused, and the pressure in both places is the same, which is to win the championship.”

Alexander-Arnold : “I always knew that if I left Liverpool, there would only be one club I wanted to go to, Real Madrid. Alexander-Arnold : “I’ve been waiting for this for a long time, I mean the last two weeks. I respect the club, growing up I saw Real Madrid win the Champions League three years in a row. I’m not surprised by that and I want to be part of that success. This team has a winning culture, and we’re going to America to win the Club World Cup.”
