Clash on the market: Inter is raging for Bayern’s offer for Davide Frattesi

The summer market comes alive and one of the most talked about names in these days is that ofDavide Frattesi. The Inter midfielder is at the center of a delicate negotiation between the Nerazzurri club and theBavaria Monaco, but the situation is rapidly degenerating into a real diplomatic case.

According to sources close to the Milanese club, the coachCristian ChivuHe decided to exclude Frattesi from his technical plans for the next season. A surprising choice, considering that the player had been purchased only recently as one of the pillars of the future Nerazzurri midfield.

With the aim of revolutionizing the squad, Inter have opened to the possibility of giving up Frattese, attracting the interest of several top European clubs. Among these, theBavaria MonacoThe ideal profile to strengthen the median of Vincent Kompany in the Italian midfielder.
However, the first offer of the Bavarians –About 20 million euros plus bonuses– caused the immediate reaction of the Nerazzurri management, who judged the proposal“Ridicola” and “offensive”. According to the presidentGiuseppe Marotta, the value of Frattesi cannot be less than 35 million, considering its performance, the young age and the still long contract.
Even the payment method proposed by Bayern irritated Inter: it would in fact deal withA dialing in several installments, an option not very welcome to the Milanese club that aims to immediately reinvest the funds in the market.
In the meantime,Frattesi looks carefully at the evolution of the negotiation. Despite a certain link with the Nerazzurri environment, the player knows that with Chivu he risks finding little space, and therefore he sees the Bundesliga hypothesis. However, he would have asked“Respect” and “clarity”in the management of negotiations.
Inter, for its part, is not in a hurry and waits for the right offer. “Davide is a technical and financial heritage of the club. We do not sell it,” said sports director Dario Baccin.
Bayern, engaged in a profound renewal of the squad after a disappointing season, needs new faces in midfield. Frattesi, with its ability to cover both phases, represents an interesting solution.
For now, the distance between supply and demand seems unbridgeable. But the market is long, and a compromise is not to be excluded. One thing is certain:The Frattesi case is destined to be talked about for a long time.
