Trent Alexander-Arnold was officially presented as a new Real Madrid player to the media on Thursday (12 June, 2025).
As part of the presentation, the Englishman was shown a compilation video of some of the best moments of his Liverpool career.
At one point, the presentation showed Trent’s famous ‘corner taken quickly’ moment in Liverpool’s 4-0 thrashing of Barcelona in the 2018 UEFA Champions League semifinal.
Alexander-Arnold appeared to be cheekily smirking while watching the moment because of how it lines up as one of his best moments.
Trent played a key role in helping Liverpool win that game against Barca and deny the Blaugrana a chance to win the Champions League.
Trent will be playing in the El Clasico against Barcelona for Real Madrid next season and will aim to do something similar against his new arch rivals.
