Nelly Korda reaches 100 weeks as world number one, and a special gift from the LPGA leaves everyone envious

Despite the appointment with the title at the US Women’s Open 2025, Nelly Korda still made a brilliant impression when it reached a 100 -week milestone holding the No. 1 position in the world, becoming the sixth female golfer in history to achieve this achievement and was the first American to have a three -digit week chain at the top of the Rolex ranking rankings.

With a dazzling performance in recent years, Nelly Kora at the age of 26 is not only a symbol of the new generation of women’s golf but also the embodiment of durability, class and spirit of victory.

Since the first time to the world’s No. 1 on June 28, 2021 – coinciding with the milestone of Cristie Kerr (the first American to take the No. 1 throne in 2010), Korda has six times returning to the top of the table and is now affirming its indispensable position.

The breakthrough that took her firmly in the No. 1 throne originated from the 2024 sublimation season, when she won seven champions, including 5 consecutive victories, achievements helping Korda match the legendary Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam on continuous winning series since 1978. With seven titles in a season, she also joined the rare group with Kathy Whitwith, Nancy Lopez and Beth Dani, The only American golfer has done it since 1970.

During the peak conquest journey, Korda owned 15 LPGA Tour titles, including two championships Major KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2021 and Chevron Championship in 2024. She also stepped on the glory podium with the Olympic gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

In 2024, she also witnessed her receiving two prestigious awards: Rolex Player of the Year and Rolex Annika Major Award, confirming her No. 1 position was not only a number but a real dominance in the whole season.

Not only did he play personal impression, Kora was also the pillar of the US team in the team. She has appeared in 4 Solheim Cup periods, the closest to 2024 at Robert Trent Jones Jones Golf Club, the US team winning the first victory since 2017.

Dustin Johnson is the only American remaining in this group with 135 weeks.

In Europe, only Rory Mcilroy, the Masters 2025 champion held the No. 1 position for more than 100 weeks (currently 122 weeks). The remaining name in the “100 -week legend” group is Greg Norman, former CEO of Liv Golf, with 331 weeks holding the highest position.
