Jake Paul unleashes new controversy with a tough accusation that involves Canelo Álvarez and Turki Alalshikh, once again moving the world of boxing.

The evolution of Jake Paul, of the Internet sensation to a boxer that monopolizes headlines, has been everything but conventional. With each fight, the American continues to monopolize headlines, and while preparing for his next clash against Julio César Chávez Jr., it causes even more stir outside the ring.
True to his provocative style, Paul has never hesitated to challenge high profile opponents, or even figures operating behind the scenes. One of its objectives has long been a confrontation with Canelo Álvarez, the largest superstar of Mexican boxing. However, that fight has never materialized. And now, Paul claims to know exactly why.
During an interview at The MMA Hour, Paul made a bold accusation, directly pointing to the influential Saudi Advisor and promoter Turki Alalshikh. “They told him that if he fought with me, they would cancel the contract. I understand it, he had to protect the future of his family. When you invest billions in boxing and you are not the one who organizes the greatest events, but there is someone who does it without contributing a single dollar, you will do whatever it is necessary to stop it,” said Paul.
Jake Paul says that an agreement of 300 million dollars got in his way.
According to Paul, the reason why Canelo remained away from the fight was linked to an exorbitant financial agreement. He states that Alalshikh took advantage of a $ 300 million contract to deter Mexican superstar of accepting the challenge.

Paul acknowledged the decision, noting that Canelo simply watched for the welfare of his family. However, he did not hesitate to express what he thinks would have happened if the fight had been carried out. “Without a doubt I would have defeated it, it is finished,” Paul added safely.
Who is Turki Alalshikh?
Turki Alalshikh has quickly become one of the most influential men in boxing. High Saudi official and important sports investor, Alalshikh has contributed to transfer the epicenter from the boxing to the Middle East financing and promoting important international fighting. Although it prefers to operate between racks, its impact is undeniable and, in this case, more and more controversial.
