The transporter (French: the transporter) is an action thriller in English 2002 produced by Cory Yuen from a scenario by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. This is the first episode of the franchise Transporter and features Jason Statham as Frank Martin, alongside Shu Qi, François Berléand, Matt Schulze and Ric Young. In the film, Frank, a British merceur driver living in France, is involved in a conspiracy of the trafficking of human beings.
The carrier was inspired by the series of short films The Hire. The carrier was created at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles on October 2, 2002 and was published in theaters in the United States on October 11 by 20th Century Fox, and in France on October 23 by Europacorp. He has received mixed criticism from criticism, with praise for his action sequences but a criticism for his history. He reported $ 43.9 million worldwide and was subsequently followed 2 (2005).
