Cardi B gave fans a glimpse into her Easter festivities and her own childhood on social media.
On April 20, the 32-year-old rapper took to Instagram Stories to share Easter baskets made for her daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, and son Wave Set Cephus, 3, whom she shares with ex Offset.
In her post, she also opened up about her childhood and shared a sad revelation with her fans. “I never had an Easter basket when I was little,” she wrote in the caption. “We just had eggs and church.”
Cardi B previously opened up about her past in a tweet posted on X (formerly Twitter) in November 2024. She wrote:
“I am the daughter of two immigrant parents who had to struggle to provide for me! I am a product of welfare, Section 8, poverty, and what happens when the system is stacked against you.”
Along with her two eldest children, Cardi B recently gave birth to her daughter in September 2024. The “I Like It” rapper announced her pregnancy on Instagram in August 2024, one day after filing for divorce from Offset for a second time.
“With every end comes a new beginning,” she wrote in the caption. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you brought me more love, more life, and most importantly, you renewed my power! You reminded me that I can have it all!”
“You reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion,” she continued. “I love you so much and I can’t wait for you to see what you’ve helped me accomplish, what you’ve pushed me to do! It’s so much easier to face life’s ups and downs, the twists and turns, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth persevering!”
