President Donald Trump stated that “the money is pouring into the United States unprecedented,” the tariff attacks helped the US collect two billion USD a day and many countries want to re -negotiate.
Speaking at the White House Eastern Room, in the event of promoting coal mining, US President Donald Trump on April 8 emphasized to legislators, cabinet members and leaders of industries that his tariff policy is promoting effectively.
He called the reciprocal import tax policy as a “booming” factor in his economic strategy, helping the US to earn two billion dollars a day. While not providing detailed data or indicating which tariffs contribute to this revenue, President Trump emphasized that many national representatives are coming to the US to negotiate tax exemption.
“We talked with very much, many countries want to reach an agreement. The problem is that we cannot meet all that quickly. But it’s okay, because the tax has been ‘turned on’ and money is pouring into the US with unprecedented levels,” he said, adding that leaders of businesses are considering relocating the factory back to the US to avoid heavy taxes.

After speaking about the initial effectiveness from the reciprocal tax policy, Mr. Trump signed four executive orders that he would help “revive” the coal industry. He pledged to accelerate coal mining to meet the increasing energy demand due to the rapid development of artificial intelligence and data centers, as well as the wave of companies returning to the United States.
During the White House photo shoot, Mr. Trump continued to mention the tariffs and revealed that representatives of many countries were on their way to the US to sign agreements to be “shoe -making” for them.
“These are agreements designed to close shoes, very detailed. Right now, Japan is flying to negotiate. South Korea is too. And many other countries,” he said.
Also on April 8, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed an additional 50% additional tax that Mr. Trump threatened to impose China to take effect at the beginning of April 9 by the US time, bringing the total tax on China to 104%. She said President Trump believed that Beijing also wanted to negotiate with Washington but “they didn’t know where to start.”
“The tax began to take effect at 0h01,” said Leavitt. “China was wrong to retaliate. When the United States was attacked, the president would respond stronger.”
